SUEZ CANAL
SCENERY

I want
to thank here the collaboration of Victor Sootarsing who has reviewed the
final design and amiably, he has not allowed me to pass errors in the
models. Like always, I have paid more attention to the aspect of the
professional navigation than to landscapes, but I have not neglected
either to these. You should find palms, camels, cars, trucks, mosques,
etc. The scenenery is designed in 29 sections.

SAIN PETESBURG
SCENERIES
Because the legth of this scenery, I have divided
in East and West sceneries. The singularity of both sceneries is the type
of navigation to use. The navigation betwing this waters are normally made
visually, from buoy to buoy, more than using traditional means like course
and speed.

The total of sceneries covers the Iberian Peninsula, the Balearic and the
Canary Islands, so that navigation among them can be realised of
continued.
These
sceneries have the following characteristics:

More than 4600 km., of coast.
-
2.
176 designed Commercial and
pleasure ports.
-
3.
Approximately 90 mts. of
coast resolution.
-
4.
44 contiguous sceneries
allowing automatic change from one to another.
-
5.
The coordinates of all the
scenes correspond with the real ones.
-
6.
The flashing and position of
the lights are according to NIMA.
-
7.
The heights of the
strategically important points are approximately the real ones.
-
8.
The depths are real within a
tile resolution of 1 km.
-
9.
It has been included the more
important the commercial and pleasure ports.
-
10. All the sceneries are
designed for Virtual Sailor 7 release.
-
11.
All the sceneries are able to be
transferred to Vehicle Simulator.
